Nokia 5230

Nokia has introduced Nokia 5230 Smartphone. It is a stunning device. Nokia 5230 is of new design and an avant-garde technology. It proffers 3.2 TFT resistive touch screen and it is available in black and white colors with 5 dissimilar back frame colors like Red, Dark Silver, Pink, Yellow and Blue.

It runs the most recent symbian s60 v5 OS, which is also used in trendy Nokia devices such as N-series. Its dimension is 111 x 51.7 x 15.5 mm, weighs 115 g including stylus, 83 cc volume with stylus, Accelerometer is provided to auto-rotate, Proximity sensor for saving power and to avoid unintentional touches.

Nokia 5230 is a 3.2 inch display screen. It has a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels, Touch screen, USB 2.0, Micro USB connector and 3.5 mm Nokia AV connector. It consists of MP3 ring tones, speakerphone, 3.5 mm audio jack, Li-Ion 1320 mAh battery, 70 MB memory and microSD up to 16 GB.

It has GPRS, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS and Handwriting recognition facility. It provides 2 MP camera, VGA at 30fps, Stereo FM radio including RDS. It can be used for sending SMS, MMS, send/receive Email and IM.

It provides Talk time of up to 7 h for 2G networks and for 3G network it is Up to 4 h 30 min. It is a reasonably priced device with great features when compared to LG cookie, Samsung Star and Star 3G. Its price is approximately 10.000 INR.

Nokia 5230 is a fine music phone as the storage can be expanded up to16 GB and has fast music playback keys. One can see in the image where a media bar is provided and can be used to access Youtube, Ovi store, galleries and other preferred apps directly from the phone home User Interface.

Nokia E71

The Nokia E71 has been waiting for months to be announced. The device seems to be at the point of launch because upcoming Thrusday, May 8, is mentioned as date of announcement. However, this is not all, the Nokia E71 is also spotted in several Dutch webshops with full specifications and image material.

The Nokia E71 is a device that a lot of businessman and women are waiting for. Since the launch of the Nokia E61i in February 2007, the Finnish manufacturer has not launched a business device in this shape anymore. A lot of businesspeople prefer a compact candybar shape for their device and that is an area in which Nokia has not launched anything new last year. The Nokia E71 does match this description and it's a true follower of the Nokia E61i with her specifications.

That the announcement of the Nokia E71 is planned at May 8 matches the webshops because the device can be found in several Dutch webshops already, complete with her specifications. That's why we know that the size of the E71 will be 112 x 57 x 10 mm and that the device is good at data connections. The device will namely offer GPRS, UMTS, HSDPA and WiFi support, so checking your business e-mail will take place on top speed.

In order to make sure that you will never be late for that impotant business meeting, th Nokia E71 has an integrated GPS received and Nokia Maps. Nokia also though of relaxation with the E71, the device probably offers a 3 megapixel camera at its back. It will also have a musicplayer and stereo FM radio on board. The amount of memory and whether this will be expandable is not clear, rumours indicate that it is expandable and the webshops state that it's not.

Nokia’s E63 Business

Spotted in a Nokia promotional video and then through a series of spy shots at the tail end of October, the E63 has finally been officially unveiled this week. A relation of the fantastic E71 email-focused business phone, the E63 is slightly pared down in comparison, but don’t dismiss this as phone to gloss over just yet.

Key Features of the Nokia E63:

• It’s a quad-band 3G handset with GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, A2DP Bluetooth and even Infrared as connectivity options.
• Full QWERTY keyboard and E71-beating Navi-Wheel navigational device, just like that found on the new N85.
• A 2 megapixel camera with flash and video.
• MicroSD card slot with a capacity of 8GB maximum, plus 110MB of internal memory.

The E63 should operate in exactly the same way as the E71 as it runs Symbian 9.2 S60 version 3.2 software too, however the new touch sensitive Navi-Wheel which encircles the traditional d-pad should make it even easier to flip between menus and screens.

This is the only feature on the E63 which cannot be found on the E71, which given its inevitably cheaper price tag is one thing more than we would usually expect. The E63 has a plastic casing rather than the E71’s all metal shell and weight drops by just a gram or two to 126. Battery life looks to have been upped to 432 hours standby and 11 hours talktime, improving slightly on the E71.

The E63 looks set to be an interesting addition to the range, perfect for anyone not wanting HSDPA or gadgets such as GPS, but preferring a focused email device which can handle some entertainment if need be, for which Nokia have added a 3.5mm jack plug, their media player and an FM radio.

Nokia E51 Nokia E51

Nokia 1209

Two new entry-level handsets from Nokia - the Nokia 2600 classic and the Nokia 1209.

Both are aimed at emerging markets, with the Nokia 2600 classic (left) offering changeable Xpress-on covers, MP3 ring tones, an FM radio and a VGA camera. The Nokia 1209 has additional 'cost management features' to make phone sharing easier, including a pre-paid tracker, a cost-tracking application, and a multiple phonebook, which allows up to five people to store personal contact lists of up to two hundred numbers on a single phone.

The Nokia 2600 classic will retail for approximately 65 euros, with the Nokia 1209 available for 35 Euros.
